Cheonan BBQ with pork ogyeopsal and kimchi jjigae: Cham Dwaejitgan
Cham Dwaejitgan Cheonan Dujeong Branch is a rice-husk-smoked charcoal BBQ restaurant in Dujeong-dong, Cheonan. The writer ordered four cuts — Jirisan black pork ogyeopsal (five-layer pork belly), black pork neck, cham-samgyeopsal and kkotmoksal (marbled pork neck) — with kimchi jjigae and a bowl of rice, and the owner and staff grilled everything at the table so the group could just sit and talk. The best bite was meat, minari and mushroom wasabi wrapped in a slice of potato.
