Yuseong Korean restaurant with an 8-dish rice table: Jeonju House
Jeonju House is a Korean restaurant on Oncheon-ro 101beon-gil in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, known for kimchi and side dishes the owner makes in-house. A Sunday visit around 5pm meant walking in with no wait, for the 8-dish basic rice table (8-cheop bansang) plus two servings of cast-iron-lid fresh pork belly, a 2,000 won doenjang stew (soybean paste stew) and two orders of fried rice. The aged kimchi with fresh pork belly, and the fried rice finish, are what make Jeonju House worth the trip.
