After dinner with a friend in Euljiro, I heard a hot new solo bar had opened in Seoul, so we headed to Yahwa Honsul Bar Euljiro!

At Yahwa Honsul Bar Euljiro, the owner assigns each guest a seat, and the vibe is that you chat naturally with the people in front of and next to you. The moment I walked in I loved the soft lighting and cozy atmosphere~

At first I worried it might be a bit awkward... but the owner picked our seats so carefully and made the mood so comfortable that we were having fun in no time! Since people chat naturally with whoever is in front or beside them, I think even a shy introvert like me, or someone coming alone, could get friendly without any awkwardness :)

Refreshing lemon water is provided as the water, which went nicely with the cocktails 💛

What we ordered: ₩66,000 in total

We were full from eating meat, so we ordered truffle potato chips as an easy snack plus several cocktails~ My friend doesn't drink, so she ordered non-alcoholic cocktails, and I ordered a martini, a gin and tonic and a Godfather. The only snack was the truffle potato chips, and the total came to ₩66,000.

The three things I recommend at Yahwa Honsul Bar Euljiro are the non-alcoholic whisky highball, the truffle potato chips and the martini⭐️ There are so many kinds of cocktails that picking by taste was half the fun~

Especially the truffle potato chips! The truffle aroma is strong and you keep reaching for more, and as you munch you end up ordering more drinks! They paired really well with the fresh, crisp martini too 😋🍸

Gin and tonic

Since I'd had meat for dinner I was craving something fresh and clean, and the gin and tonic was just right! It's made with gin and tonic, so it's so clean~~

The Godfather (39%) is strong

For my third cocktail I ordered the Godfather from the signature menu. The aroma was wonderful, but honestly it felt a bit harsh for me and I couldn't finish it 🥲 The Godfather is high in alcohol, so I'd recommend it to people who like strong drinks rather than beginners! Next time I'd go for something low to moderate in strength~🍸

They also have little game props you can enjoy casually while drinking, which was fun! Before I knew it the place was completely packed~ I lost track of time and fell head over heels for Yahwa's charm~~

How to avoid a wait? Overall verdict and visit tips

We visited Yahwa Honsul Bar Euljiro around 9pm on a weeknight, and the seats filled up quickly, not long after we came in. If you don't want to wait, I recommend arriving early!

Even for an introvert like me, or someone coming alone, the owner assigns your seat and talks to you in a friendly way! And since the mood makes it easy to get close to new people, my friend and I had so much fun we lost track of time 😆 There's a wide range of drinks and non-alcoholic cocktails too, so I think it's fine for people who can't drink to come along :)
