Kitsune Yubu Daejeon Dunsan (키츠네유부) is a Japanese restaurant specializing in inari sushi (rice in sweet tofu pouches), udon and tteokbokki in Dunsan-dong, Daejeon, near Exit 7 of City Hall Station. On a family outing, the writer waited through the weekday peak, ordered seafood udon, cheese rosé udon-bokki and three inari sushi, and got a free egg inari sushi through a Naver review offer. The big inari sushi and spicy seafood udon at Kitsune Yubu made for a filling, good-value meal.

With its own parking lot plus a second lot, unlimited banchan refills, and old-fashioned snacks and misugaru (roasted grain drink) for dessert, Baengnyeon Boribap is a good place to take your parents.

Walk-in gopchang platter in Dunsan-dong, Daejeon: Uhwa Gopchang

Uhwa Gopchang is a gopchang (grilled beef intestine) restaurant in Dunsan-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon, where the signature order is a mixed platter of gopchang, daechang, makchang, brisket and heart on one pan.
