Hanseong Yang Kkochi Gyodae Branch 2 is already a well-known lamb skewer and lamb rib spot near Gyodae Station, and it was busy with customers even early on a weekday evening. Fresh lamb plus a wide range of Chinese dishes made this a very satisfying Gyodae restaurant. Honest review, here we go!

Hanseong Yang Kkochi Gyodae Branch 2 is in Seocho, a short walk from Exit 14 of Gyodae Station, so it is easy to reach. It is open from 12pm to midnight with no break time, which made it easy to visit whenever I wanted. Since it runs from lunch until late, you can enjoy lamb skewers in the daytime as well as late at night, which is a big plus.

There is parking in front of the restaurant, but the space is small, so I recommend taking public transportation.

There was a reason it was so busy on a weekday. I arrived around 5pm and plenty of people were already eating. You can feel why it is loved enough to have a second branch, and the fast table turnover made me expect fresh ingredients.

Atmosphere and seating

The inside was bigger than I expected, and the tables were nicely spaced, so it looked good for company dinners or group gatherings too. It also had a nice mood for just grabbing a beer near Gyodae Station.

Maybe because it was summer, I really craved the combo of ice-cold Tsingtao and lamb skewers.

Along with the side dishes, a special lamb skewer seasoning and a variety of sauces were provided, so you can enjoy it to your own taste.
