Bucheon pub after a hike: cinnamon Kozel Dark & IPA at P&Chick

This is based on a visit on October 10, 2026.

P&Chick (피앤칙) is at 178 Sinheung-ro, Shops Building 3, Units 115 & 116, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi, South Korea. It is open daily 11:00–24:00, and the sign said it is closed regularly on Sundays.

Why I picked P&Chick for a 2nd round in Sinjungdong, Bucheon

After hiking Seongjusan we had samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) for the 1st round with plenty of somaek (soju mixed with beer), and going straight home felt a little disappointing! I was pleasantly tipsy and wanted one more cold beer, so I hunted for a 2nd round spot. That's how we ended up at P&Chick, perfect for a beer!

Hike, meat, then finish with a clean, cold craft beer... the perfect course 🤤 Here's my honest review of P&Chick, which was so good for a casual 2nd round!

P&Chick seating: half-bar seats for solo drinking and window seats

P&Chick has roomy 4-person tables along with half-bar seats that are ideal for drinking alone. They caught my eye the moment I walked in!

These days when I want a casual beer alone, I often hesitate because there's no good place. I really loved that P&Chick made its seating cozy for solo drinkers haha. It's great with a group too, but it's also the perfect spot to enjoy a beer alone with some atmosphere!

No need to think twice, we picked the window seats with a proper terrace feel! The real charm of daytime drinking is sipping while looking out at the bright scenery, right? hahaha Sitting by the open window, feeling the cool breeze and clinking glasses, put me in a great mood. Pork belly for the 1st round, beer for the 2nd, and that sunlit daytime-drinking vibe was perfect!

Free dakdari gwaja (chicken-leg-shaped snack) and french fries

We ordered just one plate of fries, and P&Chick still brought out dakdari gwaja (a crunchy chicken-leg-shaped snack) as a free side. We'd stuffed ourselves with pork belly at the 1st round, so we only ordered fries, and the savory snack showing up was so touching hahaha

Salty and crunchy, isn't this the ultimate beer snack! Even full, I kept reaching for it. Thanks to the fries and dakdari gwaja combo, the beer went down so easily!

Fries dipped in garlic sauce with Lost Coast Indica IPA

Crispy fresh-fried fries with a cold beer is pure love~~~ I asked for the sweet, nutty garlic sauce separately just in case, and they kindly brought it haha

I'm totally into the bitter flavor of IPAs lately and order only IPA everywhere! The Lost Coast Indica IPA at P&Chick smelled great and was clean, just right for my taste. A crispy fry dipped in garlic sauce, then a sip of tasty IPA!!!

How were the free review-event fried shrimp and shrimp balls?

If you join the review event, P&Chick gives you fried shrimp and shrimp balls for free. We joined, and they actually gave us both fried shrimp and shrimp balls!!!

It was a freebie so I didn't expect much, but the moment I took a bite I was shocked: "What is this shrimp ball?!" When I opened the batter, it was packed with springy shrimp, truly without a gap!!!! Crispy, savory fry dipped in sweet-and-sour tartar sauce is the best combo. This is a real hit, so definitely join the review event and get it when you visit P&Chick!!!

Kozel Dark served with cinnamon powder

P&Chick serves its Kozel Dark with a generous dusting of cinnamon powder on the rim of the glass. After the IPA, Kozel Dark is another of my favorite beers, so I couldn't resist ordering one more!!~~~ The moment I saw it I thought, "Wow, what's going on with the cinnamon?!"

Kozel Dark is already sweet and bitter and tasty, but with plenty of cinnamon aroma it turned into a fancy craft beer bar vibe hahaha. The prices are very kind overall, and the owner was really attentive and thoughtful! In the cozy atmosphere, the owner's friendliness and the great beer made the 2nd round much more fun. Great value, atmosphere and the owner's thoughtfulness, I wrapped up a satisfying daytime drink at P&Chick!

P&Chick parking and corkage

P&Chick has 2 hours of free parking, and wine corkage is free too!!!! The review event gives you really tasty food as well. Isn't this just a great pub T_T If it were near my home I'd drink here alone a lot T_T

Would I go back to P&Chick for a 2nd round in Sinjungdong, Bucheon?

It was a perfect day: a Seongjusan hike, pork belly and daytime drinking, then a 2nd round of beer at P&Chick! From the open window seats to the tasty IPA and Kozel Dark and the generous free snacks, I was totally satisfied.

If you're looking for a craft beer place in Bucheon with great value and atmosphere, definitely visit P&Chick! It's easy to go alone and the owner is friendly, so I'll probably be back soon when I'm craving a beer.
