Solo pizza spot in Sinjungdong: pepperoni Chicago pizza & jam, P&Chick

I went back to P&Chick (피앤칙), the pizza place in Sinjungdong, Bucheon that won me over on my last solo meal and has been on my mind ever since!

Last time the cheese filled my whole mouth, no exaggeration, and the owner was so kind that I was genuinely touched. This is my second visit, and it's my favorite pizza place because I always leave happier than I arrived, so here's my partly self-paid review. You won't regret this Sinjungdong pizza spot.

Where is P&Chick in Sinjungdong, and how's the parking?

P&Chick is at 178 Sinheung-ro, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi, Commercial Building 3, Units 115 and 116, about a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Sinjungdong Station on Line 7. It's on the Doosan We've the State Complex 3 side, toward Wonmi Police Station, and if you use the Doosan We've underground car park you get 2 hours of free parking 🚗

That bright, sunny orange feels like P&Chick's signature color. It's cheerful and instantly puts me in a good mood.

I always go straight for the Chicago pizza, but the owner has put together a whole lot more to enjoy, like extra-crispy pork cutlets, salads, chicken and more.

Services and facilities at P&Chick

After 5pm P&Chick serves free nacho corn cheese, and if you write a Naver review they give you one of a highball, ade, fried side or alcohol, I was told. Between the 2 hours of free parking and the baby chairs, you can tell the owner thinks about the little details!

Are there good seats for eating alone?

P&Chick has bar-counter seats (dajji-seok) for solo diners. The outside was still tidy and pleasant, haha. There's more to like here! The ceiling is high and open so nothing feels stuffy, there are counter seats for solo meals, and the window seats outside let you eat with a lush green view like this.

Recommended menu at P&Chick

The recommended menu had a nice variety of set menus, pork cutlets and chicken.

With pasta and lots of drinks too, I'd like to come back with a friend someday. Professional solo diner Gatjjin-daek.. T_T

How does the cheese on P&Chick's Chicago pizza taste?

With every slice you lift, the cheese stretches on and on. Once again this Chicago pizza made my heart flutter ❤️ You can feel every time that they don't skimp on ingredients. The cheese quality is the best, honestly T_T One big bite and the rich, nutty cheese fills your mouth, and you just smile as soon as you eat it. So happy..

It's not a harsh, salty pizza. The richness is a deep, mild savoriness that comes from good cheese, so every bite is a joy.

Pepperoni Chicago pizza price and the strawberry jam combo

This time I ordered P&Chick's best-seller, the pepperoni Chicago pizza, and a cider, ₩26,000 + ₩2,000. Last time I had the original Chicago pizza (tomato sauce). They always give you strawberry jam and the standard garlic sauce to go with the crust, and the strawberry jam is the real kicker!

The cheese is the best, isn't it? A look that makes you happy.

I dug in and enjoyed it.

Original tomato sauce vs. pepperoni Chicago

The pepperoni one definitely tastes more mellow and a little salty than the tomato sauce version, for some reason.

The sweetness bomb of the strawberry jam combo is a perfect match, and the garlic sauce and pickles go well with it too. You can see how thick the cheese is, right~!

I only learned about the strawberry jam combo at P&Chick. That burst of sweetness is pure happiness. And I can't forget the brown sugar + cinnamon pineapple they gave me last time either! The fresh pineapple with sweet brown sugar and cinnamon wipes away the heaviness in your mouth, and you can tell they really know their flavors, so I always leave in a good mood 👍

And so, one slice, two slices.

Was the second visit worth it?

From the taste to the atmosphere to the kindness, nothing falls short, so I left 200% satisfied with my second visit to P&Chick! If you're looking for really good pizza near Sinjungdong, or a spot for a solo meal or a date, I highly recommend P&Chick 💕
