Suwon bagel café gift box with no packing fee: 4 bagels, Orange Bagel

In short

Orange Bagel is a large bakery café on Omokcheon-ro in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi. The display case at Orange Bagel runs from plain, pepperoni, mocha bun and everything bagels to ang-butter (sweet red bean butter), cream and sandwich bagels, so choosing took a while, and four bagels were boxed up with no packing fee. With its own goods, a Suwon Bluewings collab drink and bingsu (shaved ice), Orange Bagel works well for both takeout and sitting in.

I finally made it to Orange Bagel, a Suwon bagel spot that bagel lovers have probably heard of at least once 🥯🍊 I was surprised the moment I walked in — the café was way bigger than I expected. It's known as a large-scale bagel café for a reason: the space felt spacious and the seating was generous.

What Orange Bagel looks like, and where to park

Orange Bagel is a large bakery café located at 129 Omokcheon-ro, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. The orange accent on the exterior stood out, so it was easy to spot from a distance. There's a slight New York vibe to it, which made it feel different from your typical bakery café! And best of all, there's parking space right in front, so it was convenient to visit by car.

How many bagel flavors does Orange Bagel have?

The first thing I saw walking in was, of course, the bagel display case. There were seriously so many kinds 🥯 Basics like plain, plus blueberry, basil, chocolate-based ones, ang-butter (sweet red bean paste with butter) and cream-filled bagels, even sandwich-style bagels — all lined up. If you love bagels, just picking one here could take forever~~~~

As I looked around one by one, my wish list kept growing, so choosing ended up taking quite a while. The bagels were pretty big too, so even one felt like it'd be filling, and with so many varieties, it seemed like there'd be fun in picking based on your mood. Everything looked so good it was hard to choose.

Pepperoni, mocha bun, everything, plain — the variety is really something. There were so many kinds of bagels that I already want to come back and try the ones I couldn't pick this time.

What is the seating like inside Orange Bagel?

Orange Bagel's interior is spacious with plenty of seating, so it seemed great not just for takeout but also for sitting down with coffee and taking your time. If you like bakery cafés with a wide bread selection, you'll probably enjoy slowly browsing and picking your menu here.

Four bagels boxed up at Orange Bagel, with no packing fee

After a lot of deliberation, I picked a total of 4 bagels! Eating in-store is nice too, but that day I wanted to eat at home, so I decided to get them packed. Once I bought 4, they packed them up beautifully 🎁

Box packed with 4 bagels

What I liked most was that the packing was free! They put the 4 bagels into a pretty box instead of just bagging them individually, which looked much neater and even gift-worthy. Packaged like this, the bagels felt like a little gift set haha. It was great for taking them out one by one at home, and would work well for sharing with family or friends too. Compared to just handing them over in a plain bag, it was so much cleaner and prettier to look at — I felt good the whole way home.

Besides bagels, Orange Bagel also sells a variety of goods.

From a drink collaborated with Suwon Bluewings to bingsu (shaved ice) — there's plenty to enjoy beyond bagels, which made the visit even more fun. That's my review of Orange Bagel, a Suwon bakery café where you can enjoy a pretty space and pick out bagels whenever you're craving them in Suwon :)
