Bulgwangcheon ramen shop with parking and fresh-bowl refills: Oreno
In short
Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong (오레노라멘 은평점) is a chicken paitan ramen shop on Bulgwangcheon-gil in Eunpyeong, Seoul. The writer had already eaten at another Oreno Ramen branch. At the Eunpyeong shop, the writer parked beside the building and ordered tori paitan with extra soft-boiled eggs and tsukune chashu. A free refill of half a portion of noodles and more broth followed. Verdict: Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong is a meal worth the wait.

Today I'm introducing one of my genuinely favorite ramen spots, Oreno Ramen (오레노라멘). I'd eaten at another branch before, and this time I came to the Eunpyeong one, haha.

Where is Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong, and what are the opening hours?
Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong is at 366 Bulgwangcheon-gil, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, South Korea, about a 10-minute walk from Saejeol Station, along the Bulgwangcheon-gil stretch ^.^ It's open daily 11:00-20:30, with a break from 14:30 to 17:00 and last order at 20:00.

Is there parking at Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong?
There's space for about 2 cars beside the shop. I'd heard parking was a bit tricky and wasn't sure, but there was a spot when I got there. If it's full, I think you'd have to park at one of the spots along Bulgwangcheon.

Is there a wait at Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong?
It's such a popular place that there's a wait at mealtimes. Turnover is quick though, so you get in fairly fast~

Seating and kiosk ordering at Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong
Inside is a cozy space with a counter-style bar table (dacchi) and about 4 tables.

You order by paying first at the kiosk by the entrance.

What's on the Oreno Ramen menu?
The menu is a single choice: tori paitan (chicken paitan) / karai paitan (the spicy version), in mild and spicy versions! You can add a soft-boiled egg and tsukune chashu (chicken meatball-style chashu) as toppings. I ordered the tori paitan with an extra soft-boiled egg and tsukune chashu.

It's an open kitchen, so you can see the cooking and smell it too. Even the waiting time is fun ✨
The water isn't plain bottled water either, it's cold iced green tea, which was so refreshing and so nice.
There are hair ties too, so I tie my hair up and get properly loaded and ready ☺️

Every table has a container of the basic side dish, pickled radish (mu pickle), so you can take as much as you want to eat. Loved that.

How does Oreno Ramen's tori paitan taste?
And here comes today's star, the tori paitan!

The tori paitan passes on looks alone with that creamy white broth! The flavor is rich yet light and clean, all chicken.

Toppings: two soft-boiled eggs and tsukune chashu
The tori paitan comes with one soft-boiled egg as standard, but I added one for two ❤️ I really do love soft-boiled eggs.
I think there used to be pork belly chashu, but it seems to have changed to tsukune chashu now. The chicken tsukune has that distinctly soft texture, and it goes really well with the rich chicken paitan broth.
The chicken breast on top isn't dry at all, not even a little. It's moist and tender!!

Honestly, I absolutely love the wood ear mushrooms in ramen. So yes... that's why... I wish there were a wood ear mushroom extra topping, boss... 🥹

My husband (Neoguriman) already likes this place too, so we both just silently slurped away, hahaha
How are the free noodle and broth refills served at Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong?
The real charm of Oreno Ramen is that rice, noodles and broth are all free to refill ❤️❤️❤️🧡❤️❤️🧡

I got a refill of half a serving of noodles plus broth. They don't pour it into the bowl you've been eating from. They put the noodles and broth in a fresh bowl, separately, and prepare it with care, just like the first serving.

They even topped it with chicken breast and green onion... I was really touched, T_T

Cleared the refill too, every last bit!!! I was full but enjoyed it to the end ^,^ Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong is a ramen spot where the meal is worth the wait, no regrets ❤️
