What marks were left on the shower booth and mirror?

The washroom at the beauty shop I run is used several times a day. Since clients use the mirrors too, I pay close attention to keeping it clean, but the oily film left on the mirrors and shower-booth glass would not come off easily no matter how much I wiped.

Even after wiping several times with alcohol, cloudy marks that looked like water stains remained. I wanted to clear them up, so I started looking for something to remove the film from the shower booth and mirror.

What were the product contents and texture like?

The product I used was AutoGrooming Clean View oil-film remover. It is known as a product for car-glass care, but after seeing reviews from people who had used it on bathroom mirrors and shower-booth glass, I decided to try it too.

Inside the mint-colored zip pouch were the oil-film remover and a mint dedicated towel. The zip pouch was convenient for storage.

The bottle was mint-colored too, and the product itself had a texture that reminded me of bright white paint.

I liked that a dedicated towel was included, so I did not have to prepare one separately.

How did I use it on the mirror and shower-booth glass?

First, I sprayed plenty of water onto the shower-booth glass and mirror. Then I sprayed the oil-film remover onto the dedicated towel and spread it broadly over the glass.

Following the instructions, I rubbed in one direction about four or five times. At first the white product was visible, then it felt as though it was adhering closely to the glass.

Finally, I rinsed it clean with water. Until then, I was half doubtful about how much difference there would be, but I could see a change in the mirror after rinsing.

Did the cloudy marks left after alcohol cleaning change?

On the mirror I cleaned, the oily film that had remained even after repeated alcohol wiping noticeably disappeared, and the cloudy area looked cleaner too.

Comparing the before-and-after photos made the difference feel even clearer. Usually, when cleaning the shower booth, I struggle to remove marks with bleach or a scrub pad, but this time the process of rubbing with the dedicated towel felt relatively easy. Once the mirror was clean, the whole washroom looked tidier too.

How did the ease of use and price feel?

What I liked most was that the process was not complicated. It was simply spray water, use the product, then rinse again, and having the included towel kept the preparation to a minimum.

The price was ₩9,900 when I wrote the original post. Since I did not need to use a large amount for one cleaning session, it felt like good value for the price. I thought it could be worth using on other glass surfaces too, such as bathroom or vanity mirrors.

I was satisfied that the mirror marks that had bothered me in this washroom I use every day were cleared up. Based on this experience, I plan to use it again when cleaning the washroom shower booth.
