When I drove, the windshield sometimes seemed to haze over. It bothered me even more on rainy days or at night, so I tried Clean View Car Glass Oil-Film Remover.
I tried it to deal with stubborn oil film, and later used it on the shower mirror and shower booth too.
How long did it take to clean all the car glass?
The stick-type product I used before took a lot of effort and time. This time, spraying on the solution and wiping with the towel felt simple.
It felt like it cleaned without having to scrub hard, and my wrists did not hurt while I worked. Doing everything from the windshield to the side windows and rear window took about 10 minutes, so it felt less burdensome to maintain.
What came in the set, and how much did one bottle cover?
It came with the oil-film remover solution and a dedicated towel. It was convenient not to have to prepare a separate towel for wiping.
Based on my use, one bottle felt generous enough for at least three to four uses.
Did it change the rubber trim if it got on it?
When I used it, I did not see the whitening that can happen when the solution got on the rubber trim. Personally, that was a part I was happy with.
I had been caught off guard before when another product turned the trim white. There was no such change this time, so I could wipe comfortably.
How did I use it on wet glass?
First, I sprayed the solution onto glass that still had water on it. Then I rubbed it over broadly with the dedicated towel, as if spreading it out.
After wiping lightly about five times, it felt like the oil film had lifted away. Finally, I rinsed it with clean water, and the glass looked clearer than before.
How was it on the shower booth and mirror?
Besides car glass, I also tried it on the shower mirror and shower booth.
The water stains and oil-film-like cloudy areas on the shower booth wiped away, leaving the glass clearer. The shower mirror, which used to look cloudy quickly when water splashed on it, also seemed to stay cleaner after use. Being able to try it in several places in both the car and bathroom felt practical.
