While visiting Seomyeon in Busan, I was walking down the street when a nutty, toasty smell stopped me in my tracks.

It was Daeshin Peanut Bread (대신땅콩빵). The smell of freshly baked bread drifted all the way down the street, and I just couldn't walk past.

I'm a fan of street snacks like this anyway, so I bought some to take home. Long story short, it was a really satisfying choice. If you're looking for a good dessert near Seomyeon Station, it's worth a stop.
Daeshin Peanut Bread Seomyeon: location and hours
Daeshin Peanut Bread Busan Seomyeon Branch is at 20 Seojeon-ro, Busanjin-gu, Busan, South Korea, about a 3-minute walk from Seomyeon Station Exit 6, so it's really easy to get to.

It's open from morning until 8 pm, so it's an easy place to grab a snack after shopping or wandering around Seomyeon. They were baking peanut bread out front non-stop, and the nutty aroma was seriously strong.

45 peanut breads for ₩6,000 and 2 egg breads for ₩4,000, to go
It was so popular that passersby kept stopping to watch, and takeaway customers came steadily. After some deliberation, I took 45 peanut breads for ₩6,000 and 2 egg breads (gyeran-ppang, small sweet-savory breads baked with a whole egg inside) for ₩4,000. The egg bread is baked on the spot as soon as you order, which made me even more excited.

They packed everything piping hot, and the smell of bread the whole way home had me dying to dig in.

How the peanut bread tasted
I started with the peanut bread. The outside was nicely golden and the inside was moist, the kind of snack you keep reaching for. One bite spreads a gentle nutty aroma, and the sweetness is just right, so I think everyone from kids to adults would like it.

Even with 45 pieces, it was only ₩6,000, so the value is great. It's good as a snack and plenty to share with family, so I was very happy with it.

Egg bread baked to order, reheated in the microwave
Next was the egg bread I'd been looking forward to most. Since it's baked on the spot, the warmth was still there. With an egg inside the fluffy bread, the nutty flavor doubled, and the slightly salty taste went really well with the soft texture.
Even at home it was still warm and tasted even better, and after a quick microwave warm-up it felt just like freshly baked. Eating it with a cup of coffee made it a dessert time that any café would envy.
These days there are plenty of fancy desserts, but sometimes you crave nostalgic snacks like this. It's easy on the wallet and tastes good, so I've saved it as a place to visit again next time I'm in Seomyeon.
Who would enjoy it
Daeshin's peanut bread and egg bread seem great as a snack for kids or for the office, and I think they'd also be good frozen and then warmed in an air fryer or microwave. If you like peanuts or street snacks, I think you'll be happy with them.
Seomyeon has all kinds of food, but a casual snack shop like this has its own charm. It's a good pick to grab on a shopping trip, on a date, or just while passing by.
Personally, I found the value really high, and the staff were friendly, so buying here was a pleasant experience. If you're looking for a good-value street snack in Busan, I recommend Daeshin Peanut Bread. Next time I'm in Seomyeon, I'll definitely take home warm egg bread and nutty peanut bread again.
