Office workers, isn't "what do we eat for lunch?" the biggest worry of the day? I've been eating around Seonyudo and Dangsan lately, and today I went to BAS Burger Seonyudo (바스버거 선유도점).
Where is BAS Burger Seonyudo, and what are the hours?
BAS Burger Seonyudo is at 115 Yangpyeong-dong 4-ga, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and it's open daily from 11 am to 9:30 pm. Last order is at 9 pm.
It's 1 minute from Seonyudo Station Exit 4 and 12 minutes from Dangsan Station Exit 13. Naver lists it by Line 9, but it looks like a quick walk from the Line 2 exits too. Seonyudo = Dangsan, right? I was walking toward Seonyudo without even opening Naver Map and then, wow, isn't that BAS Burger? It was right in front of Seonyudo Station.
They're running lots of photo review events too. You pick one of 5 onion rings, house coleslaw, or 1 mozzarella cheese bar. What a deal! The mozzarella cheese bar sounds so good...!

The big thing: the chips at BAS Burger Seonyudo are free. They're called James Gam (제임스감). A coworker said it's "the gam(ja) (potato) James made," which kind of makes sense, haha. When I searched, it seems to be a BAS signature item, but no meaning came up. I'm curious, I want to know what James Gam means. If anyone knows, please tell me in the comments.

Wait, drinks can be refilled in this day and age? Plus a beer tasting. The service is amazing, they give you so much. I hadn't read that, so I only had sauces and James Gam... (I even thought the sauces cost extra at first)
How to customize the onions on your BAS Burger
When you pick a burger at BAS Burger Seonyudo, you can choose extra raw onion, switch to grilled onion, extra grilled onion, or no onion. Personally, a burger means raw onion, no?

This is the ketchup and mayonnaise for the James Gam. Is the fourth photo the one you put on the burger? I put it on my burger, the BAS house burger sauce. And it's unlimited! James Gam!!!! It must be James.
They must like Pokémon. The Pokémon on top of the James Gam, they never go out of popularity. Immortal Pokémon, impressive.
How does the BAS Burger with extra raw onion taste?
The burgers and Cokes arrived. At BAS Burger Seonyudo you grab sauces next to the counter however you like! Each sauce has a description, so just take whichever looks tasty.
Let's take a bite. Wow, insanely good, a real Seonyudo hotspot. A burger with raw onion can never be bad. It was juicy and really delicious. It got even better once I added the BAS house burger sauce.
Is BAS Burger Seonyudo a good office lunch spot in Dangsan?
BAS Burger Seonyudo is cheap for a handmade burger place and the atmosphere is nice, so I recommend it for Dangsan and Seonyudo office workers' lunch!!! Eating solo is totally doable, and you can sneak in a beer before heading back. James Gam is unlimited!!! The service felt super generous. If you're looking for a good spot in Seonyudo, give BAS Burger a try. The burger was really delicious! Haha
