Juan hair salon for a shake-dry mid-length S-curl perm: Naple Hair
In short
Naple Hair Juan Seokbawi Intersection Branch is a hair salon at Seokbawi Intersection in Juan, Michuhol, Incheon, near Juan Seokbawi Market Station on Incheon Line 2. The writer's hair had gone limp and frizzy 7 months after a perm, so Naple Hair cut it to mid-length and gave it an easy-care S-curl perm. The curls come back just by washing and shaking the hair dry, and the writer says Naple Hair delivered exactly what was asked for.

Inside Naple Hair Juan Seokbawi Intersection Branch

At the entrance of Naple Hair Juan Seokbawi Intersection Branch, a cozy phrase greets you: "Hair, space and people that hold the comfort of nature."
The inside was really tidy~ Super bright, spacious and pleasant! The shampoo area and the restroom were both very clean too. Overall it felt neat and comfortable.
Are the prices fixed? How do you get discounts?

Naple Hair Juan Seokbawi Intersection Branch has fixed prices, posted right at the front door. Honestly I don't think many places do that these days. In the past, so many salons would add charges without telling you once your hair was done, right? 😂 Here the prices are fully fixed, and they told me about every discount I could get, so I got my hair done at a reasonable price.

Before the treatment, they talk through the design you want and tell you the price! I don't usually put much effort into styling, so this is what I told them:
- A perm that's easy to manage
- Nothing heavy on my head, since the weather is hot!
Then they showed me a few photos and recommended a design.

There were lots of events running, including a first-visit discount, a review event discount, a morning discount and a package discount (perm or dye + clinic). I liked that when I described the style I wanted, they explained how to get it at the lowest price.
When there are all sorts of discounts listed, it can feel awkward to keep asking whether the first-visit and review discounts stack, right? haha But they calculated it all first and guided me to the cheapest option~

What the name "Naple" on the menu means
Besides treatments and prices, the Naple Hair menu explains the salon's philosophy, usage tips and its treatment compensation policy. There was even an explanation of the name. "Naple" comes from "naipeul," a pure Korean word for the four-leaf clover, and it carries four meanings: healthy ingredients, reasonable prices, sincerity, and being for people, shaped into a nature image.
And honestly, that's just what the place feels like~ with friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere, it feels like a place to rest for a while.

They're also an official partner of the eco-friendly global brand Davines, so you can get those products at 20% off at Naple Hair~
Before: limp hair 7 months after my last perm

My hair was about 7 months past its last perm. With good blow-drying, curl cream and a bunch of other effort the curls showed a bit, but otherwise it was limp and frizzy.
I keep cycling between a bob and long hair every 2 years, haha. When it gets long I want to cut it, and when it's cut I want to grow it out... This time I couldn't hold back either,,, and with the weather getting hotter, my hair felt heavier and more in the way. A full bob seemed like it would actually be a hassle to manage, so I decided to go mid-length and try to keep it up!

Cut the hair~ put in the rollers~ wait~ a relaxed stretch of time. And I hadn't even gotten the perm yet, hahaha, but I was already quite happy just with the cut. You could see at a glance that my stuffy-feeling hair was suddenly neat! I got a slight sense that Naple Hair is a top spot for cuts.
After: a mid-length S-curl perm whose curls come back just by shaking it dry

Totally satisfied. Remember I said I wanted hair that doesn't take much work? After a perm they usually blow-dry with fancy hand moves, so the hair looks amazing that day, but from the next day on it's a look you can never meet again,, I've had hair like that quite a few times.
They told me this mid-length perm looks its best and prettiest when you just wash it and shake it dry! So I dried it exactly like that and was done. If that's all it takes to keep it up every day, that's perfect! My requests were reflected 100000%.
Tips for Naple Hair: donation box, points and gifts
On the way out of Naple Hair Juan Seokbawi Intersection Branch there's a donation box. They donate 100 won for every customer, and it's already piled high with coins. You just take a coin from the jar on the left and drop it into the one on the right on your way out~ How did they even come up with this? While getting your hair done, you can also help spread a bit of good influence around society haha.
They also give loyalty points~ I already got so many discounts, and they still give points on top!

I got gifts on the way out too..! I never imagined I'd leave a hair salon with both hands full. I got a bag with the Naple Hair logo, a treatment coupon and a four-leaf clover~ Is this a salon that gives without holding back,,
- Bag: looks handy for a quick grocery run
- Coupons: two kinds, a referral coupon and a treatment coupon. They already give so many discounts, and then coupons too!
- Four-leaf clover: they say it's made from a real four-leaf clover. Such a rare thing,,,
I think I'll be getting some of the luck Naple Hair passes along soon~ I even got the business card of the head designer who did my hair today. You can choose your designer when booking on Naver, so keep that in mind!
The full-length mirror at the entrance is a photo spot
On the way out I took a photo at the full-length mirror by the door~ and oh, this is a great spot for photos hahaha. It's half a flight of stairs down from the salon entrance, so you can shoot comfortably away from other people's eyes. (Photo spot recommended ✨ hahaha)

Finally, Before/After. My hair normally goes limp, but they lifted it all the way from the roots, so I'm very happy~ These curls look pretty tied up and pretty down! They gave me exactly the hair I wanted haha.
