In short
KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong Branch is a gold-tier sushi buffet that takes up the entire 9th floor of Donga Wellbeing Town, near Exit 3 of Bupyeong Market Station in Incheon. The writer chose the 27,900 won weekday lunch and tried live-fish sushi, mala xiang guo (spicy Sichuan stir-fry), self-grill yakiniku and desserts, and found the freshness and variety better than at KuuKuu Gold Bucheon, which the writer had also visited. Verdict: the weekday lunch at KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong is enough to enjoy the buffet properly without paying for dinner.

Where is KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong Branch?
KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong Branch is a sushi buffet using the entire 9th floor of Donga Wellbeing Town, near Exit 3 of Bupyeong Market Station. If you've wanted Japanese, Western, Chinese and desserts all in one place at good quality, put this on your list! It's easy to reach by public transport too.

Step out of the elevator and the wide, clean space impresses you right away. It was renovated from a regular branch into a full-floor gold-tier store, and it feels very comfortable. Registering your car gets you 1 hour 30 minutes of free parking, so it's convenient by car as well as by public transport!
How much does KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong cost?
Prices are ₩27,900 for weekday lunch, ₩31,900 for weekday dinner and ₩35,900 for weekends and holidays. I went for weekday lunch, and the menu is so varied that you don't really need dinner to enjoy it properly.

Is it good for group gatherings and family meals?
The seating inside is varied and spread out widely, so it felt perfectly suited to family meals, company dinners, New Year parties, event bookings and big group gatherings. Tables are spaced generously, so even at peak time it wasn't crowded or tangled, and we ate comfortably with our group.

How varied are the sushi, rolls and gunkan?
As a gold-tier branch, the variety of food was truly enormous.

The signature live-fish sushi, rolls and gunkan (seaweed-wrapped sushi boats) were also far more varied than at any other branch I've been to. At all-you-can-eat buffets, refills can be slow and the flow gets interrupted, right?

Here the staff check constantly, so popular items were refilled quickly and warm, and I liked that the areas around the food stayed clean.

What salads, fried food and hot dishes are there?
There are salads to pick from as a starter or a fresh side, too.

Fried food for kids and for grown-ups with kid tastes! Every time I come to KuuKuu I eat the sweet potato cheese balls, hot dogs and cheese sticks, and they're tastier than you'd expect (*•؎ •)ペ

Tableware for little ones is kept separately in a sterilizer, what a thoughtful touch! And the star of any buffet: bold, filling hot dishes. I enjoyed the mala xiang guo (spicy Chinese stir-fry pot) and the crab meat pasta.

There are warming soups and dumplings! I was too full to try them, but the skewered fish cake soup was popular.
My favorites, pizza and self-serve tacos, plus KuuKuu's signature soup en croûte! The pastry soup bread is a must too. Jajang (black bean noodles), jjamppong (spicy seafood noodles), rice noodles, udon and cold soba are cooked to order, so add toppings however you like!
What does the drinks and dessert corner offer?
There's a soda dispenser to go with your food, plus sikhye (sweet rice drink), tapioca pearls for making ube milk tea and bubble tea, coffee and assorted teas, everything covered.

Do you know people who care more about dessert than the main meal at a buffet? Cakes, breads, fruit and jelly, all packed in! The frozen mango, chocolate cake and doughnuts were good (*ꈍ꒳ꈍ*)

There are fruit juices and three kinds of nostalgic slush, plus the wildly popular milk snow bingsu (shaved ice), soft serve, cup gelato, a chocolate fountain, waffles, snacks, and as the highlight, bead ice cream.
Is there a self-ramen machine and a playroom?
I'd never seen a self-ramen machine before KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong! It reminded me of Han River ramen and I wanted a bowl, but I was too full, so I promised myself next time. The playroom for parents eating with kids is big and well made, which surprised me.
What do you grill at the self-grill zone, Yukhaejinmi?
Next to the playroom there's a separate self-grill area called Yukhaejinmi ("land and sea delicacies") where you grill meat, seafood and vegetables as you like!

The grill zone menu was far more varied too, so I grilled yakiniku (Japanese-style grilled beef), garlic and button mushrooms and enjoyed them!

How was the food at KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong?
Tasting the dishes one by one, I was surprised that the overall food quality was far better than I expected.

The rice portion in the sushi was just right, so trying many kinds felt easy, and the raw fish had no fishy taste at all, with a chewy texture and real freshness.

The hot dishes weren't too salty or greasy either, just clean, crowd-pleasing flavors!

How does it compare with other KuuKuu branches and Bucheon?
I've been to a few other KuuKuu branches, but KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong was clearly much more satisfying in freshness and variety.

If you're going to do a buffet properly, I strongly recommend a gold branch, no question! After a hearty main meal, I finished sweetly at the dessert corner with fruit, bakery items and ice cream.

With a solid dessert lineup, you can handle everything from meal to dessert in one place, great value at KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong! You can enjoy a wide range of quality food in a spacious, comfortable space, so I highly recommend it to anyone near Bucheon or Incheon looking for a group venue or a sushi buffet ( ⁀⤚⁀)

I also paid for KuuKuu Gold Bucheon myself some time ago, and to my taste Bupyeong was far more satisfying!
