In Marine City, Haeundae, Busan, I found a Chinese restaurant that nails the ocean view, the atmosphere, and the taste all at once. It's Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch — here's my honest review from a visit with my kid~

Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is on the 2nd floor at 51 Marine City 3-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, right in front of the Marine City coastal road. Business hours are 11:00–22:00 with a break time of 15:30–17:00.
This Haeundae Chinese restaurant is super easy to find, sitting right in front of the Marine City coastal road. Parking is available — 1.5 hours free at The Sharp Adelis commercial parking lot, and street parking is also possible in front of the building.
Inside the 100-pyeong hall: ocean-view window seats and private rooms
The moment you step inside, you feel the spaciousness of the 100-pyeong hall~ No cramped feeling at all, tables set well apart, and a luxurious interior that made the atmosphere very satisfying!
By the window there are partitioned booth-style tables with a wide-open view of the Haeundae ocean, making this a great date spot too
Further inside there's also a private room where you can enjoy your meal privately, great for a family gathering or a group visit with friends.

There's also a weekday lunch set, so you can eat well for a great price. Orderable weekdays 11am to 3pm.
There are noodle and rice dishes like jjajangmyeon, jjamppong, and fried rice, plus a range of cooked dishes like tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), dongpa-eori, and papgochae, so it's great for a hearty meal.

We visited with our kid, so we focused on the meal menu — jjajangmyeon, jjamppong, and fried rice. After ordering, the whole menu came out quickly all at once, which was really satisfying~

The basic of all basics! My kid ordered the BUUK jjajangmyeon.
Made the traditional way with thick pork, onion, and cabbage simmered slowly over low heat, the glossy black bean sauce wasn't too heavily seasoned — just the right sweet-and-salty balance.
The noodles were nice and chewy, so my kid really dug in. It was a classic, clean jjajangmyeon that hits the spot for kids' tastes. Even my picky eater said it was delicious and cleaned the bowl!

Bueokgan's beef brisket jjamppong is packed with generous, thinly sliced beef brisket for full flavor.
One sip of the broth and a deep, rich smoky flavor filled my mouth~ Loaded generously with savory beef brisket, the broth was deep, and the spiciness wasn't just sharp — you could really taste the richness of the meat stock.
The noodles were thicker than the usual jjamppong noodles, and the chewy strands soaked up the rich, spicy broth beautifully — I ate it up so happily.
Abalone shrimp fried rice, 18,000 won: the dish to order

Bueokgan's abalone shrimp fried rice, with fresh abalone and plump shrimp sliced into bite-sized pieces, stir-fried over high heat with egg rice.
If you visit Bueokgan, you have to try the abalone shrimp fried rice. It's a premium fried rice with a luxurious flavor that really stood out!! Absolutely delicious!
Every single grain of rice seemed coated and perfectly stir-fried, with a wonderfully chewy texture.
With chewy, clean-tasting abalone and plump, springy whole shrimp, the texture was really varied. Add a little of the accompanying jjajang sauce on top and the flavor comes even more alive. It's a menu item everyone can enjoy, with no real downside.
A walk along the Marine City coastal road after lunch
After finishing our meal, we took a leisurely stroll along the Marine City coastal road right in front. Walking off a full meal in the sea breeze was pure healing. A perfect walking course before and after eating.
