Beef BBQ by Uijeongbu Station: curry-dipped rib finger, Supsok Oki Jip
In short
Supsok Oki Jip Uijeongbu Station Main Branch is a beef BBQ restaurant right outside Exit 3 of Uijeongbu Station in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi, with a dim, forest-like dining room. With the emperor rib finger (hwangje neukgansal), the writer added the 10,000 won set of tripe hot pot and soup-style curry, and dipping the rib finger lightly in the thick curry worked better than expected. Supsok Oki Jip's run from starter soup to beef, curry and spicy tripe hot pot is unusual yet satisfying.

Getting to Supsok Oki Jip Uijeongbu Station Main Branch and the exterior

Supsok Oki Jip Uijeongbu Station Main Branch is near Exit 3 of Uijeongbu Station, so it's easy to reach by public transport. The wood-toned exterior mixed with green vines stands out, and the entrance has a bamboo and artificial-grass path.

Interior mood and 2nd-floor group reservations
The restaurant has a two-level layout, and if you reserve in advance you can also use the 2nd floor (up to 16 people). Inside, the lighting is somewhat dim but softly done, which feels comfortable. It looked good for group gatherings or a quiet meal.

Menu and the ₩10,000 add-on set
The main beef menu includes emperor rib finger (hwangje neukgansal), diced short rib and handmade LA galbi. On your first order, you can add ₩10,000 to get tripe hot pot and curry soup together, so you can choose to suit your taste. A Naver receipt review event is also running right now, apparently.

We tried the emperor rib finger with the set option added. Once you sit down, a warm starter soup comes first, good for taking the edge off your hunger. Then the tripe hot pot and a soup-style curry, which simmers on one side of the grill, were set up.

What does emperor rib finger taste like dipped in curry?
I put the emperor rib finger I ordered on the grill. The marbling on the surface looked clean and fresh, so I was really looking forward to it while it cooked! haha

The emperor rib finger keeps a decent amount of juice and chews tenderly. Lightly dipping the beef in the thick curry turned out to be a better match than I expected. The tripe hot pot that came with it was also an easy soup dish to go alongside.

Once the meat was properly grilled, I could see with my own eyes that the quality of the beef itself was very good. Eaten with the sweet-salty sauce and the various side dishes, the combination was excellent. On top of that, the spicy tripe hot pot broth was rich and delicious, so I finished the meal perfectly.
Soup, curry and beef all together! It was my first time, but it was a really filling combination.
