Traveling with a baby, this visitor skipped the dining room and picked up halibut and flounder for two at 45,000 won plus mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) at 15,000 won to eat in a hotel room, and Yangyangbada packed the lettuce wraps, dipping sauces, mulhoe broth and thin noodles separately so it tasted no different from eating in. Sokcho croquette shop for market trips with a baby: Samsam Goroke

Samsam Goroke is a croquette shop in the chicken alley of Sokcho Jungang Market in Sokcho, Gangwon, selling croquettes made with Sokcho specialties. Across from the Manseok Dak-gangjeong main store, we took away the 6-piece set with all six flavors and shared it in the car and at our accommodation, and the red crab, abai and potato croquettes were the standouts. Samsam Goroke is just right for a short market walk and a snack to carry along when travelling with a baby.
