Songdo Central Park bakery top 3 long breads: white castella, Tomoru
In short
Tomoru Bakery (송도토모루베이커리) is a bakery near Songdo Central Park in Yeonsu, Incheon, where a master baker bakes the bread every morning. The writer picked 5 long breads and ranked white castella (5,000 won), pumpkin rice bread (5,700 won) and basil tomato (5,800 won) as the top 3, then had an americano at one of Tomoru Bakery's in-store tables. Hey everyone~ if you're a bread lover, this is a Songdo bakery-hopping hotspot you can't just walk past: I visited Tomoru Bakery (송도토모루베이커리)! 🍞✨

I heard there's a really proper bakery near Songdo Central Park, so I happily went bread shopping! Every morning, a Korean master baker (certified 제과기능장, the top national baking qualification) bakes the bread by hand with healthy, good ingredients 💯
The taste and looks are great, and the value for money is excellent too, so I'd recommend it to Songdo residents and visitors alike. Here's my honest review of Tomoru Bakery! 💕
What kind of bakery is Tomoru Bakery?
Tomoru Bakery is a Songdo bakery where a Korean master baker bakes bread by hand every morning. The master baker's stubbornness and healthy ingredients are the heart of the place 🌿🍞

It's not just a place that bakes and sells bread. It's where bread is born every morning from the hands of a Korean master baker!

They say they use only carefully selected, high-quality ingredients, from organic flour and natural sourdough starter to AOP-certified butter and antibiotic-free eggs, with no artificial additives at all. The dough is also aged at low temperature for at least 18 hours, and maybe that's why my stomach felt comfortable, not heavy, after eating the bread.

Tomoru Bakery is also close to Songdo Central Park, Haedoji Park and Triple Street, so it's a perfect stop before or after a walk or shopping!
What did I pick at Tomoru Bakery? 5 long breads
Tomoru Bakery is known for being especially good at the long, skinny kinds of bread! A rebellion of long breads, you could say 🥖✨

So I filled my tray too: pumpkin rice bread, pastry twisted donut, white castella, chocolate baguette and basil tomato.
Do they cut the long breads for you?
Yes! If you ask for the cutting service at Tomoru Bakery, they neatly cut the long breads into bite-size pieces. The loaves are fairly big, so they're great for sharing, and with them cut it's really easy to eat at home or at a table! 💡
Now let me introduce my personal Top 3 breads, chosen after tasting them myself!

Top 3 breads at Tomoru Bakery, with prices
🥇 No. 1: White castella (₩5,000)
The white castella (sponge cake) is ₩5,000, and it's honestly my favorite pick at Tomoru Bakery! The bread itself is soft, and it's packed with sweet, smooth cream inside, so it's a flavor everyone from kids to grown-ups will praise, no matter their taste. Highly recommended!

🥈 No. 2: Pumpkin rice bread (₩5,700)
The pumpkin rice bread is ₩5,700. It's not sweet at all, just a plain, nutty rice bread that gets better the more you chew! Sweet pumpkin is packed in throughout, so the texture is great, and it's healthy yet melts in your mouth. Excellent.

🥉 No. 3: Basil tomato (₩5,800)
The basil tomato is ₩5,800. Juicy marinated tomato sits in the middle, and the combination of classy basil aroma and salty cheese is fantastic!

The pastry twisted donut and chocolate baguette I picked along with them were crisp outside, moist inside and nutty, and so charming too! This quality at this price... Tomoru Bakery is a bakery near Songdo Triple Street that's perfect on value as well!
How is the americano at Tomoru Bakery?
At Tomoru Bakery you can enjoy bread and drinks at the store tables, and the americano had really good flavor and balance. A fragrant cup of americano at a table on a nice day ☕🌿

The weather was lovely and I had a little time, so I grabbed a table in the store and ordered a cold americano!

Bakery cafés sometimes disappoint on coffee, but at Tomoru Bakery, from the first sip of the americano I thought, "Wow, they really use good beans!" The flavor and balance were top-notch. With fragrant coffee and tasty bread together, I came away properly recharged ☕🍰
Overall verdict on Tomoru Bakery near Incheon National University Station
