Unjeong bakery weekday open run, campsite breakfast: Boulangerie Tan
Boulangerie Tan Unjeong Main Branch is a natural-levain bakery on the first floor of Farm Tower on Chorongkkot-ro in Paju's Unjeong district, and it closes early once the bread sells out. On a weekday morning off work, the writer picked up jambon-beurre, a chocolate baguette, flan and gourmet butter salt bread, and the fresh-from-the-oven chocolate baguette was crisp outside, soft inside and studded with crunchy nuts. The leftovers became breakfast at a campsite the next morning, where the flan's flaky pastry base was the most satisfying bite.
