Stroller-friendly large café in Ulju, Ulsan: injeolmi roll at MUG
In short
MUG is a large mountain-view bakery café in Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju, Ulsan. The writer visited on a weekday afternoon with a 3-month-old baby and a stroller, used the diaper-changing table, and ordered a MUG lemon smoothie, an iced café latte, pastry pizza and an injeolmi roll (sweet rice cake roll). MUG has no nursing room, but the diaper-changing table, wide gaps between tables and free parking out front make it an easy outing with a baby.

Hi everyone! There's really so much to think about when going out with a 3-month-old baby. This time, while looking for a café with a diaper-changing table, I found this large café in Ulsan called MUG and paid it a visit!
Where is MUG in Eonyang, Ulsan, and is there parking?
MUG is located at 90 Hyangsandagae-ro, Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan (Sangbuk-myeon Jinae-ri 610-1). It's open 10:00–20:00, has no regular closing day, and parking is available.

MUG has plenty of parking space right in front of the store. Even though I went on a weekday, there were so many cars. Still, the parking area was spacious enough that I had no trouble at all.

The exterior of MUG was really impressive. The building has a unique, gallery-like feel! It made for a pretty photo spot too. Apparently the exterior is finished with charred wood (tanhwamok), which gives it that distinctive, atmospheric look.

Pretty flowers were blooming here and there. It was fun to look around and take in the greenery. Visiting with a baby, it felt nice to stroll around and enjoy the nature too.

Ocean views are great, but this mountain view is amazing too ❤️

One whole wall at MUG is a mirror, which made for great photos. With pretty flowers blooming nearby, it was the perfect photo zone — the mirror helped the pictures turn out even nicer.
Inside MUG with a stroller: diaper-changing table yes, nursing room no
MUG has a diaper-changing table inside, but no nursing room. The seats are spaced generously, so I could bring the stroller in without any trouble.

Here's a look inside MUG in Eonyang, Ulsan. Lots of seats and plenty of open space meant it wasn't loud at all, which I loved. The gap between seats also gave enough breathing room to visit comfortably with a baby.

Even with the stroller in tow, the space was so spacious that we had no trouble getting around.

And MUG does have a diaper-changing table! I saw another blog mention a nursing room, but there wasn't one — just the diaper-changing table.

So clean haha
MUG's outdoor tables and the walking trail and lookout out back

There were quite a few outdoor tables too, so on a nice day it'd be lovely to sit outside and enjoy a coffee. Looking out at the green scenery, it seems like a great spot to spend some relaxed time.

Behind the café there's a walking trail and an observatory. When the weather cools down a bit, it'd be nice to grab a coffee and take a walk out there.
What we ordered at MUG: lemon smoothie, pastry pizza and injeolmi roll
At MUG, we ordered an iced café latte and the signature meok lemon smoothie, plus a pastry pizza and injeolmi roll (sweet rice cake roll) for dessert. We went around 3pm on a weekday, and a lot of the bakery items were already sold out.

Here's MUG's drink menu. With coffee, smoothies, tea, and ade all on offer, there was plenty of variety to choose from depending on your taste.
We visited around 3pm on a weekday, and it was a bit disappointing that so many bakery items had already sold out. I guess since it's such a popular café, the bread goes fast.

Besides bakery items, they also had cakes on display.

Here's what we ordered: an iced café latte and meok lemon smoothie to drink, and pastry pizza and injeolmi roll for dessert.
MUG's signature meok lemon smoothie! Once you mix it well, it's tangy and refreshing all at once. Perfect for a cool drink on a hot day.

We warmed up the pastry pizza in the microwave too. It was loaded with olives, and really tasty.

I've had plenty of white rolls before, but this was my first time seeing an injeolmi roll, so I picked one up! It had injeolmi cream inside, giving it a unique, nutty flavor.
If you're looking for a place to visit with a baby in Ulsan, I recommend MUG, this large café with a diaper-changing table :)
