Late-night jokbal pub in Bucheon with free platter noodles: Kkalkkali

Kkalkkali Jokbal Bucheon Branch is a fried jokbal (pork trotter) and bossam pub on Bucheon-ro 29beon-gil near Bucheon Station in Gyeonggi. The order was a small half fried, half original jokbal plus a flying fish roe rice ball: the original was chewy and moist, the fried half crisp outside and springy inside. A free jaengban guksu (platter noodles) from the review event made this a third return visit among the jokbal spots near Bucheon Station.

Monkfish restaurant near Bucheon Station open until 6am: Haemul

Haemul Teukbyeolsi Bucheon Station branch is an agujjim (spicy braised monkfish) and seafood stew restaurant on Buil-ro near Bucheon Station. On a quiet Sunday visit, the collagen agujjim set was switched to boneless fish for 43,000 won and eaten with the side dishes and wrapped in dumpling skins. There was no room left for the fried rice, but Haemul Teukbyeolsi delivers on portion, flavour and price.
