Busan galbitang restaurant for solo soju with brisket: Gang Galbitang
Gang Galbitang Seomyeon is a hanwoo beef-bone galbitang (short rib soup) restaurant on Saessak-ro, a short walk from exit 11 of Seomyeon Station in Busanjin, Busan. At a bar-style seat for one, the galbi noodles cost 13,500 won with extra brisket for 3,500 won, served with soju at 5,000 won and oolong tea at 3,500 won for a solo meal and drink, and after the noodles a mini bowl of rice goes into the broth for a second round like galbi rice soup. The broth at Gang Galbitang Seomyeon is clean with no gamey smell, making it an easy stop for a drink alone on the way home from work.
