Uijeongbu noodle restaurant's new spicy braised ribs: Daedae Myeonok
Daedae Myeonok is a Korean restaurant on the main road in Gosan-dong, Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi, serving naengmyeon (cold noodles) and kalguksu (knife-cut noodles). Three of us ordered two servings of the new spicy galbijjim (braised pork ribs) and one arongsatae kalguksu, and the pork ribs were braised until the bones slipped right out, alongside a noodle bowl in dried pollack and beef broth. The heat is only about Shin Ramyun level, so anyone who likes real spice should ask Daedae Myeonok to turn it up.
