Handmade seafood noodle soup in Dongbaek, Yongin: Baekcheongu Kalguksu
Baekcheongu Kalguksu Yongin Dongbaek Branch is a handmade noodle restaurant in Dongbaek, Yongin, Gyeonggi, where the dough is kneaded in-house for its seafood kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup). Twelve weeks pregnant and deep in morning sickness, the writer took a half-day off and shared seafood kalguksu for two (₩12,000 each) plus half-and-half steamed dumplings (₩11,000) with her husband, scraping the bowl clean thanks to the clear, deep seafood broth. It was the most satisfying meal she managed during weeks of nausea.
