Bundang kalguksu restaurant, gyoza dumplings to go: Gangnam Gyoja
Gangnam Gyoja Bundang Seohyeon Branch is a kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) restaurant in Seohyeon, Seongnam, one minute on foot from Seohyeon Station Exit 5, on the second floor of the Daeppang Arcade building. Visiting with mom on a weekday after 1pm, the writer ordered kalguksu and spicy kalguksu at 10,000 won each plus gyoza dumplings at 11,000 won, and the servings were so large the leftover dumplings went home in a takeout box. The chicken broth and the strongly garlicky kimchi made Gangnam Gyoja a place worth returning to once the weather turns cold.
