Pyeongtaek Bijeon-dong kalguksu with upstairs parking: Goryeo Mulchong
Goryeo Mulchong Kalguksu is a clam-and-mussel broth kalguksu (knife-cut noodle) restaurant on Pyeongnam-ro in Bijeon-dong, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi. With a 6-year-old and a 9-year-old along, the writer ordered the 3-person set (two picks from kalguksu or goldongmyeon, plus napa cabbage dumplings and pear-leaf medicinal boiled pork) and received two free rice bowls, which the restaurant gives free to children through elementary school; the parking lot on the upper floor of the building has a narrow entrance that takes care to drive into. Goryeo Mulchong Kalguksu is worth recommending for a family lunch with young children.
