What kind of café is Chat Baker in Anseong?
Chat Baker is a large brunch + bakery café in Gongdo, Anseong. It's spread over floors 1–2 with a pleasant, roomy interior, and since it's near Anseong Farm Land it's a great stop after a day out with the kids :) Above all, I recommend it because the freshly baked bread and the brunch menu are really delicious.
The parking lot is fairly big, and there's even parking guidance, so it was easy to park and walk into the café.

Chat Baker has a huge variety of breads. The moment you step inside, the place is filled with the smell of toasty bread and coffee, which instantly lifts your mood. After a weekend outing with the kids, your energy is pretty much gone...! Good bread and drinks at Chat Baker really recharge you.
You can even try free bread samples, and this one was so soft and tasty. It's the kind of bread that small children and older folks can enjoy too :)
The interior is spacious and pleasant, great for settling in and relaxing. The clean white + green interior stands out, and best of all, the ceilings are high, so it felt open and airy, not stuffy at all :)
There are lots of seating options, and with babies or toddlers the floor-seating area is probably the best choice, right?! The tables aren't packed too close together, so it was easy to talk.
Matcha bingsu sold out, so we ordered patbingsu
In the past I only had bread and coffee here, but this time I ordered patbingsu (red bean shaved ice). I wanted the matcha bingsu, but it was sold out........! The patbingsu was loaded with rice cake and red bean, and the portion was generous. We shared it with the kids and there was still plenty, which was great.
It's so hot these days, so why not get a sugar boost from a cold, sweet patbingsu~? The kids and I enjoyed it a lot. Great taste and great atmosphere, so Chat Baker is our family's regular café :)
We'd just come from a kids' café, so honestly I was running out of energy......! Sweet bingsu and mild, toasty bread in a cool, comfortable space, now that's what I call healing, hahaha.
Choco baguette and the weekend crowd at Chat Baker
The choco baguette was mild and plain on the outside and packed with sweet chocolate, and the moment it hit my mouth I was happy. Honestly, all the bread is really good. Even when I'm full, I keep eating it...! Soft music plays quietly in the background, which calms the mind. But on weekends there are tons of people, so a bustling feel is unavoidable. Still, the seats aren't too close together, so it felt a little more relaxed.
