Gwacheon seaweed soup restaurant before Seoul Land: beef and scallop
Haenon Miyeok Gwacheon Direct Branch (해논미역 과천직영점) is a Korean seaweed soup restaurant at 67 Araetbaeraengi-ro in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi. On a Monday lunch before a trip to Seoul Land with her second child, the writer ordered the set for two with beef seaweed soup and scallop seaweed soup, adding self-serve banchan, grilled flounder and japchae (stir-fried glass noodles). Portions at Haenon Miyeok were big enough to take the leftover soup home for 1,000 won extra, and the rich perilla-oil broth was easy for a child to eat.
