The writer cut thick, semi-curly long hair into a bob for the first time in 5 years and had straightening plus a heat perm (Mozi perm with C-curl), done one-on-one with damage care and a lesson on drying. Samajama Sasang (사마자마 사상본점) is a yakitori izakaya (Japanese-style pub) on a hillside street near Sasang Station in Busan, open until 2 a.m. A regular who has been coming since the year before last ordered the pick-your-own 6 skewers (18,000 won), a first try of Napolitan (Japanese-style ketchup spaghetti, 12,000 won) and butter-grilled potatoes (5,000 won) on a late weekend afternoon.
