Songjeong Japanese restaurant with three bowls and three sides: Yuok

Yuok is a Japanese restaurant on Songjeonggangbyeon-ro in Haeundae-gu, Busan, built around its grilled eel rice bowls. A family of three filled the table with a jumbo unaju eel set, a salmon rice bowl set and a tori-don chicken bowl set for the older child, who cannot eat eel, plus tempura udon, chicken karaage and tamago fry, and the tamago fry dipped in wasabi sauce was the best combination of the night. Everyone from the kids to the adults left happy, making Yuok an easy family dinner in Songjeong.

Stroller-friendly Chinese restaurant in Gwangalli: Mirim Yangjang

Mirim Yangjang Gwangalli branch is a Chinese restaurant and bar serving Peking duck a 5-minute walk from Gwangalli Beach in Busan. Visiting with mom, a one-year-old and a stroller, the writer ordered half a Peking duck, mala ragu egg noodle stir-fry and yuxiang eggplant stir-fry, and the wide gaps between tables left plenty of room to park the stroller. With baby chairs and QR code ordering at the table, Mirim Yangjang Gwangalli branch is an easy choice for a family meal out with a young child.
