I was craving Western food for the first time in a while, so I went to Extra Mile, where you can enjoy pizza and pasta in one go 💭 The pizza is great and the interior is pretty too, so this Gwangalli spot is one I'd recommend for dates or meetups with friends.

What's the atmosphere like at Extra Mile?

A clean, spacious interior

What I liked about Extra Mile as much as the food was the atmosphere 💭 The whole space is stylishly decorated, which put me in a slightly better mood while eating, and it feels relaxed yet moody, so there were quite a lot of couples on dates.

The staff were super friendly too 🩷

Extra Mile makes the pizza right as you order! Maybe that's why it tastes even better and comes out piping hot •••

Crayon coloring sheets and homemade cucumber pickles

There are crayons on the tables at Extra Mile so you can color on the paper. It's unusual, and I felt it was something special about this place~!

These homemade cucumber pickles alone are crazy ㅠ3ㅠ The pickles, which no pizza can do without, were so good I was shocked 🫨🫨🫨

The pizza + pasta set at Extra Mile is ₩42,000, and you can pick a half-and-half pizza together with a pasta. This time I ordered a potato and pepperoni half-and-half pizza and tomato pasta.

The set is simpler to order than getting pizza and pasta separately, and you get to try a variety of flavors 💭 Best of all, ordering a half-and-half pizza doesn't add any extra charge. When several people come and everyone wants something different, you can pick two flavors without worrying, which made me think this is a real Gwangalli gem!

Hot honey pepperoni and potato half-and-half pizza

For the half-and-half I picked hot honey pepperoni and potato 📍 The flavors are clearly different, so I thought it'd be great for alternating bites,,,

I also liked that the pizza and pasta in the Extra Mile set come out at the same time 🩵

I don't really love Western food, but Extra Mile was so good that I ate in a daze, haha

The potato pizza was soft and great to alternate with the hot honey pepperoni!! The fluffy texture of the potato went well with the cheese, and it seemed like a flavor anyone would like. If you visit with someone whose tastes differ, ordering half and half should satisfy everyone.

Even the pizza dough was delicious, so I ate every bit.

The potato pizza at Extra Mile is topped with fried shredded potato, and personally it suited my taste soooo well.

This Gwangalli spot is also generous with toppings.

Tomato pasta as the set's pasta

For pasta I always order the never-fail tomato pasta! Both the pizza and the tomato pasta at Extra Mile were delicious, so I was very happy with the set. It's a good Gwangalli pick for anyone who likes both.

Verdict: is Extra Mile in Gwangalli worth a return visit?

Overall, I was already happy that Extra Mile lets you choose a half-and-half pizza with no extra charge, and if you want good pizza in Gwangalli or a restaurant with a nice atmosphere, I recommend Extra Mile 🫶 When you can't decide, half and half lets you enjoy two flavors, and with pasta alongside it makes for a satisfying meal. It's a Gwangalli spot I'd happily revisit on a day I want both good food and good atmosphere!!
