Goyang Chinese restaurant: jjamppong with hand-torn sujebi noodles
Jjamppong Jijeon Seooreung Branch is a jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) specialty Chinese restaurant on Seooreung-ro in Deogyang-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi. Visiting at 3pm to skip the lunch rush, the writer and their partner ordered the signature Jijeon jjamppong with a hand-torn sujebi noodle add-on, glutinous rice tangsuyuk and the new jjamppong fried mandu (4 pieces). With a clean broth made from Korean-grown red pepper powder, a large parking lot and a self-serve bar, Jjamppong Jijeon is worth a return trip whenever a jjamppong craving hits.
