Today I'm recommending Orange Bagel, a big bakery café in Suwon. This is my second visit. Last year I went during the Christmas season and enjoyed the year-end mood with its huge tree. I kept thinking about the delicious bagels I had that time, so I went back with my boyfriend as a date. I'll walk you through the exterior, the interior and everything I actually ate!
Orange Bagel in Suwon: location, hours and parking
Orange Bagel is at 129 Omokcheon-ro, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi, and it's open every day from 7:30 to 21:00 (last order 20:30, open year-round). There's a large parking lot in front of the café, and parking is free.

They say Orange Bagel uses French and Canadian flour to make bagels with a rich flavor.

They sell many kinds of bagels, so you can pick by taste, and it's a great place for brunch too.

Besides bagels, they also sell a variety of signature drinks made with orange.
What does Orange Bagel look like from outside?
Orange Bagel is an orange-toned brick building that suits the café's name. The building itself is big, so it stood out even from far away. The parking lot in front is spacious and easy to use, so it's a good place to visit by car.
Interior and seating at Orange Bagel

Step inside and you'll notice New York-style decor everywhere. It's dotted with vintage props and picture frames.

Being a large café, it has the first floor, second floor and a rooftop, so there's plenty of seating and it was easy to linger. Sofa seats, wide tables and window seats each have a slightly different mood, so you can choose to suit your taste.
From Halloween to Christmas: decor that changes with the season
Halloween is coming up, so Orange Bagel was decorated for it. 🎃

Since there was a huge tree last Christmas, they seem to dress up the space for each season. 🎄 You get a different atmosphere every season, so it would be nice to visit regularly.
Bagels and drinks I ordered on my second visit
Last time I really enjoyed the green onion cream bacon bagel and the jambon beurre bagel (ham and butter). This time I wanted to try new bagels, so I picked different ones.

- Pepperoni bagel
- Potato bagel
- Laugen butter
- Orange Cano
- Peach oolong iced tea
Pepperoni bagel: loaded with olives, tastes like pizza

The pepperoni bagel makes you think of pizza just from the look, and it really tasted like eating pizza. I usually like olives, so I liked it even more with so many olives inside. The pepperoni and olive combo gives a salty, pizza-like flavor, so it's more of a filling meal than a snack.
Potato bagel: my boyfriend's number one

The potato bagel is packed with potato salad. Every bite was full of the savory, soft flavor of the potato salad. If you usually like potatoes, you'll probably enjoy this one. It's the bagel my boyfriend said was the best.
Laugen butter: a mix of sweet and salty

Laugen butter is a bagel with Laugen's signature pretzel-like flavor plus butter. It tastes sweet overall, but you also get that savory, salty pretzel taste, and the balance was better than I expected.
Orange Cano: fine even if you don't drink much coffee

First, the Orange Cano, which fits the name Orange Bagel perfectly. It's an americano with an orange twist, and coffee and orange go together better than I expected. I'm not someone who usually drinks coffee, but I enjoyed this quite a lot. The fresh scent of orange on top of the bitter coffee makes it feel definitely different from a regular americano! If you don't like coffee but want something different, it's worth a try.
Peach oolong iced tea: iced tea with chewy coconut bits

The peach oolong iced tea had the sweetness of peach together with oolong tea's distinctive aroma. With every sip the peach and oolong blended nicely, and the coconut bits you chew here and there made the texture fun. It's sweet but still has a tea aroma, so it went well with the bagels too.
Back at Orange Bagel: overall verdict
Orange Bagel was satisfying again on the second visit! With so many kinds of bagels, picking your own is half the fun, and they're filling enough for brunch or a simple meal. If you're looking for a spacious, relaxed big café in Suwon, or want a hearty brunch, visit Orange Bagel~
