Gosan-dong Korean BBQ in Uijeongbu: five-cut half pig, big jjolmyeon
Hanmaeum Butcher Restaurant Uijeongbu Gosan District Branch is a butcher-shop-style Korean BBQ place on the 3rd floor of a building on Seseok-ro in Gosan-dong, Uijeongbu. For a family dinner we ordered the half pig (samgyeopsal, ogyeopsal, mokjisal, hangjeongsal and gabrisal) plus naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles) and jjolmyeon (chewy noodles in spicy sauce), and the pork had no gamey smell, which made comparing the texture of each cut fun. The noodle bowls were far bigger than a side-dish finisher, so we left a little behind after a very filling meal.
