Kid-friendly kalguksu restaurant at Siheung Premium Outlets: Pyeongi

Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu is a Korean restaurant inside Siheung Premium Outlets in Siheung, Gyeonggi, serving bone kalguksu (hand-cut noodle soup) and bibim kalguksu (spicy mixed noodles). On a weekday lunch with his son, the writer ordered the bone kalguksu suyuk (boiled pork) set for 19,000 won and the bibim kalguksu meat dumpling set for 15,000 won, and the owner left out the cheongyang chili peppers and ground pepper in advance once he saw the child. Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu makes a filling meal after a day of shopping with kids, and the writer would go back.

Three-floor Gangneung snack shop with kids' sand play: Gangneung Sand

Gangneung Sand Main Branch is a dessert souvenir shop filling all three floors of a building on Seonggokgoyang-gil in Gangneung, Gangwon. Stopping by during a business trip, the writer bought one box each of the signature coffee flavor for 16,000 won and the Chodang corn flavor for 17,000 won on the 2nd floor, saw the 1st floor photo exhibition "A Place Where Eyes Rest," and let the kids into the 3rd floor sand play event zone. The boxes still looked good on a weekend camping birthday table, so Gangneung Sand is a Gangneung souvenir worth buying again.
