💑 Why a foot bath café makes an unusual date in Jeonju
While looking for date course ideas in Hanok Village, I wanted to try something a little different. We'd already done plenty of cafés and restaurants, so this time we decided to try a couple's foot bath.

So we headed to Manjok, a foot bath café in Jeonju Hanok Village. I thought it'd be a good place to rest halfway through a walking-heavy itinerary in the village, haha.
🚗 Parking near Eunhaeng-ro and the 5-minute walk
The closest parking lot to Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok was Hanok Village Public Lot No. 3. Even so, it's about a 5–7 minute walk from there to the foot bath café.

Once you arrive, the entrance is pretty distinctive, so it's hard to miss. It was clearly a popular spot with a lot of visitors.
⏰ How long is the weekend wait at Manjok?
We visited around 5:30pm on a Saturday and it was already fully booked. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes before being seated.

On weekends, depending on the situation, you might wait 10–20 minutes. Still, turnover seemed good, so we didn't wait as long as I expected.
💰 What you get in the 15,000-won basic course
Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok's Basic Course A is ₩15,000 per person. It includes 30 minutes of foot bath, a shoulder massager, and a free drink.

The massage isn't given by staff — you use a separate shoulder massage machine instead. Even so, this combo felt satisfying and reasonably good value. Writing a receipt review also got us ₩1,000 off for two people.
🌹 Choosing the rose powder and your free drink
Once warm water fills the foot bath tub, a staff member helps you choose a powder. They said peppermint is good for swelling, rose for stress, and lavender for insomnia.

We both picked rose without any hesitation, haha. The drinks are also free, with a range from coffee to tea. Each drink's characteristics were listed, so it was easy to pick one that suited our taste.

I chose mosi-ip tea (ramie leaf tea), and my husband went with an americano.
🦶 Thirty minutes of rest for feet tired from walking
Once your feet are in the foot bath machine, it spins and massages the soles. It feels a bit like scratching, so it could be a strong sensation if your feet are sensitive.
In that case, you can ask them to adjust the intensity, or just soak without the massage function. Personally, I loved sitting by the window and watching people pass by — it was surprisingly relaxing.
The shoulder massager felt better than expected too, and my feet turned soft and smooth after the soak. It felt like even the softened dead skin got smoothed away, so I finished up with some foot cream.

If you're doing a day trip with a lot of walking, I think this is worth adding as a mid-tour stop on a Jeonju Hanok Village date course.
It was especially nice as a couple's foot bath course since we could rest side by side. If you're looking for a foot bath café in Jeonju Hanok Village, stopping by Manjok for a break could make for a different kind of date, haha.
🌿 A recovery stop after a long day in Jeonju Hanok Village
Hanok Village involves a lot of walking, so by the later part of a date your feet get pretty tired. Resting side by side with my husband during the foot bath, plus a warm tea, made things so much more comfortable.
Eating and sightseeing dates are great, but adding a rest stop like this in the middle made the day feel a little more relaxed, haha. Especially on a day with a lot of walking, it was a good, budget-friendly way to shake off the fatigue.
Who should visit Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok?
- Couples looking for a different kind of date in Hanok Village
- Anyone wanting a short rest after a lot of walking
- Anyone who wants to enjoy a foot bath and massage together
- Anyone looking for a healing course for a day trip in Hanok Village
