Afternoon foot bath with a child in Jeonju Hanok Village: Manjok
In short
Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok is a second-floor foot bath and massage café on Eunhaeng-ro in Jeonju Hanok Village. After an earlier late-night visit, this trip to Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok came on a lazy afternoon with a child: a foot bath with a chosen herb salt, a shoulder massage, drinks, and hanok rooftops seen through the window. For anyone worn out from walking the village, Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok makes a good midway rest stop.

Finding the café when Jeonju Hanok Village walking gets tiring

I visited this foot bath café in Jeonju Hanok Village late at night last time, but this time I came during a drowsy afternoon on the trip. Conclusion: still satisfying! Using it as a mid-afternoon break was actually even better.

A spot you can't skip on a Jeonju Hanok Village itinerary. There's so much to see and eat in the village that you end up walking a lot, so while touring around I stopped by Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok for a rest. The sign catches your eye as you walk through the village, so it's easy to find. From the entrance, cute foot-shaped signs and various character decorations make it fun to visit with a kid too. The exterior blends with the hanok village atmosphere, so it's the kind of place that draws a second glance as you pass by.
Inside Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok: foot bath seats and massage chairs

At Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok, you enter, pick your course, and follow the staff's instructions. The comfortable massage chairs where you can soak your feet in warm water look inviting enough on their own to melt away travel fatigue — perfect for a break.

Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok has a restroom inside the store, which made it convenient to visit with my daughter.
Price, drinks, and choosing a herb salt for the foot bath

Depending on the course, you can enjoy the foot bath and shoulder massage along with a drink, taking your time. It's not just a foot soak and out — getting a drink included was a nice touch. Sipping something cool while soaking your feet in warm water — that's exactly what a break during a trip should feel like!

Peppermint, rose, or lavender — you can choose the herb salt that suits your taste.

Doing the foot bath and massage together made me sleepy right away! It really felt like a proper rest in the middle of the trip. Maybe because we'd been walking so much, but from the moment my feet touched the warm water I felt myself relax.

The window seat view over Jeonju Hanok Village rooftops
Another charm of this foot bath café in Jeonju Hanok Village, Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok, is the view of the village through the window. Looking out from the window seats, the hanok rooftops and green trees came into view all at once, so it was fun to just take in the scenery too.

I rubbed some smooth foot cream on my tired daughter's feet and gave her a massage — she said it felt amazing, haha.

Night visit or afternoon visit with a child: which is better?
Visiting in the afternoon left my sluggish body feeling much more comfortable, so this afternoon visit was really satisfying too. Last time was night, this time was afternoon. Last visit was late at night, wrapping up a full day of touring, while this time was different. Both times were good, but personally, I think stopping by for a rest whenever you get tired mid-trip is also a great approach. Tour the hanok village > have a delicious meal > rest at Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok > keep exploring. Fully recharged!!
With warm foot baths, shoulder massages, hanok village views, and drinks all in one, this stayed in my memory as a great place to take a break during a Jeonju Hanok Village trip. If you're looking for a different kind of rest stop for a Jeonju Hanok Village date course, be sure to check out Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok.
