Café Diaz Galleria Gwanggyo is a café in the basement 1 food hall and café zone of Galleria Gwanggyo in Suwon, Gyeonggi. Café Diaz serves cream cakes piled with seasonal fruit — plum, fig and mixed fruit — alongside a low-acidity coffee, and sells both slices and whole cakes to take away. A handy stop when your energy dips mid-shopping.
Yun Ujae Shabu Kalguksu Gogidong Branch is a shabu-kalguksu restaurant in Dongcheon-dong, Suji-gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi, a short walk from the Gogi-ri kalguksu alley. Visiting with two small children, the writer ordered both the red broth and white broth shabu-kalguksu at 11,500 won each, picked two kinds of house-made noodles, added a seafood pajeon (green onion pancake) and finished with minari fried rice. With 12 dedicated parking spaces plus the daycare lot out front open on weekends, Yun Ujae went straight onto the family's regular list for eating out with kids.
