Uijeongbu dakgangjeong shop with salt-dipped fried chicken: Dalgom's

Dalgom's is a takeout dakgangjeong (Korean sweet crispy fried chicken) shop inside Jeil Market in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi. Three people ordered 1.5 chickens in three flavors for 24,000 won — sweet, garlic soy and plain fried — and the plain fried came with a side of salt for a lighter bite while the sweet flavor was packed with chewy rice cakes. The open kitchen and shop were spotless, which made carrying the box home from Dalgom's even better.
