Gyeongju café with cosmos views and floor-to-ceiling windows: Yard

Yard is a large café in Bomun Tourist Complex, Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk, with an outdoor cosmos flower field and floor-to-ceiling windows. After walking through the orange cosmos, I had a café latte and vanilla latte and took in the second-floor view and terrace. Verdict: Yard is a lovely stop for flowers, photos, and a relaxing latte.

Buja Hodu is a dessert shop on Hwangridan-gil in Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk, serving handmade rice walnut pastries and drinks. After trying red bean, matcha, and pea cream cheese pastries on a date with her husband, the writer packed several gift boxes of her favorite, pea cream cheese. Verdict: Buja Hodu is a lovely stop for a Hwangridan-gil snack and Gyeongju souvenirs.
