Cheese dakgalbi restaurant near Heyri Village, Paju: Mom's Uijeongbu

Mom's Uijeongbu Budaejjigae is a Korean restaurant right at the entrance to Heyri Village in Paju, Gyeonggi, serving budae jjigae (army stew) and dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken). Two servings of cheese dakgalbi (17,000 won per serving) and one finishing fried rice (4,000 won) arrived on a hot plate, so the cheese kept stretching to the last bite and the rice crisped at the bottom like nurungji (scorched rice). With a private lot behind the building, free for 2 hours, Mom's Uijeongbu Budaejjigae is an easy Korean meal near Heyri Village with no parking worries.
