I visited MOI's Yeouido location, a great spot for a date or a gathering with really tasty sauces on two pastas, plus a bread that blew me away as one of the best I've ever had haha, so here's my review!

Where MOI is and its hours: 2 minutes from Yeouinaru Station
MOI is only 182m, about a 2-minute walk, from Exit 1 of Yeouinaru Station, so it's super easy to find. It's on the 2nd floor of the Gongjak Sangga building. The location was really easy to spot~

What the inside of MOI looks like
The inside of MOI has a luxurious color scheme. The interior was really elegant and pretty~ And it's very comfortable for a meal.

There are seats further inside too, great for a Yeouido gathering or date~

The paintings dotted around are also striking. The sofa seats in the back look comfortable too~

What we ordered at MOI and what it cost

Chamnamul vongole pasta ₩23,000, gamtae cream pasta ₩23,000, bread with seaweed butter ₩6,000. That's what we ordered~

Water, napkins and utensils were set on the table.
Seaweed butter bread, 6,000 won: why it stole the meal
The bread ordered for 6,000 won came with a seaweed sauce. If you love bread, you absolutely must order this. It's out-of-this-world good haha.
The bread was so soft, chewy on the outside — I've genuinely discovered a bread of a lifetime here. It was seriously top-tier delicious and generously sized, so my mom and I kept marveling as we ate.

The seaweed sauce. This one has a subtle gim (seaweed) aroma and flavor, and its savory saltiness pairs really well with the plain bread~
Chamnamul (Korean wild parsley) vongole pasta, 23,000 won
The two pastas came out quickly. True to its reputation as a hidden pasta gem in Yeouido, the dishes had a distinct taste I hadn't had anywhere else~
The chamnamul (mountain herb) vongole pasta has chamnamul mixed throughout and plenty of clams. The green sauce coats the noodles well too~ Twirling the noodles up, you can really tell MOI takes its sauces seriously haha. The chamnamul is fragrant.

There were quite a lot of well-cleaned, chewy clams in it, adding flavor and making for a fun dish to pick through~

The roasted garlic was nicely toasted and nutty, and dipping the soft bread into the chamnamul pasta sauce was another treat.

Adding a bit of tangy cabbage pickle on the side helps digestion and adds a refreshing note~
Gamtae (green laver) cream pasta, 23,000 won, and a note on a changed ingredient
For the gamtae (seaweed) cream pasta, they explained that one of the ingredients listed on Naver had been changed to something else.

On Naver, green vegetables are shown on top, but ours seemed to have something like sprouts on top instead. The rich sauce coats the noodles well, which stretch nicely, and the savory sauce felt well balanced.

The tiny shrimp bits pop pleasantly in texture, tasting fresh, and the roasted garlic is nutty. The semogasari (a type of seaweed from Jangheung) has a springy texture that's great to eat alongside — it has a real taste of the sea~

Putting clams and roasted garlic on top of the plain bread turns it into a dish of its own.
Restrooms at MOI
The restroom is outside the store once you exit~
Is MOI in Yeouido worth a visit?
MOI is in an old-fashioned commercial building, but the taste and interior feel foreign, which makes for a nice contrast~ The flavors of the ingredients really come through and the seasoning is spot on — MOI is confirmed as a Yeouido spot with great food and atmosphere!
