Paju river-view café date with mugwort matcha latte: Four & More
In short
Four & More (포앤모어) is a large bakery café with European-style interiors on Soraji-ro in Paju, Gyeonggi. On a date, the writer and her boyfriend sat in the 3rd-floor river-view seats with a mugwort matcha latte, an iced americano and a jamón arugula pizza, then took home big, hefty loaves of bread. Four & More is a Paju date café for unwinding with views of the river and trees when your mind is busy.

My favorite kind of date: a café date ❤️ My boyfriend recommended this big Paju café, Four & More ❤️ I've been feeling unsettled lately, worn out from overthinking, so I went to the café for a transfusion for my heart.
What kind of café is Four & More in Paju?
Four & More (포앤모어) is a large European-style bakery café on Soraji-ro in Paju, with an underground car park and seats overlooking the river. I've been to lots of big cafés in Paju, but this was the first time I found a date café like this near Seoul.
There's parking all the way down underground, and it's surrounded by trees, so the breeze was lovely and cool.
When you open the door, the whole interior is European-style design, and everything was so pretty it caught my eye at once. Looking at my photos now, it's a shame they don't capture the interior as a whole.

How big are the bread and what do they cost?
Four & More has desserts, meals and drinks by category. The bread prices are similar to other bakery cafés, but the size was huge and hefty. We'd had a big meal before coming, so the dessert corner barely registered with us 😭 With desserts, meals and drinks all on offer, it would be great for a family meal out too.

Even though we couldn't eat them right then, everything was so pretty that I loaded up to take home. What surprised me here... the bread was huge. The prices were similar to other bakery cafés, but the bread was much bigger and heavier than elsewhere.

Floors 1 to 3 and the river-view seats
The 1st floor has a self-serve bar with pickles, spoons and forks, and the 3rd floor has window seats with a full view of the river. The view of the 1st-floor hallway and stairs from the 2nd floor is really striking.
The stair wall is hung with tasteful frames. I'm sad I couldn't take prettier photos, but in person the wall color was lovely too, and the pictures in the frames were ones I kept looking at.
The interior with the river view right there. We took a seat on the 3rd floor with the pretty view. Behind the lovely country houses, the river stretched out wide. It was so beautiful ❤️❤️

The scenery outside was so pretty that I was super busy gazing out the window and snapping photos until the ice melted a little.
Drinks and the bread I took home
The drinks we had at Four & More were a mugwort matcha latte and an iced americano (nutty blend).

I split the bread I bought to take home with my sister-in-law. She likes plain flavors just like me, and she raved about how good it was.
I was too full and only ate the ciabatta, which has just the right amount of olives and Gouda cheese. It's the kind of delicious bread I keep thinking about, so, so, so much.

The rooftop and 3rd-floor outdoor tables
The rooftop was closed on the day we visited because of strong wind, but the 3rd floor has separate outdoor tables. We went up to the rooftop, went "aww, what a shame 😭" and came back down, and there were the 3rd-floor outdoor tables, right there.
I stepped outside for a moment to feel the breeze, watched the trees swaying and the country houses, and just zoned out. It felt like proper healing. My gloomy, overthinking mind got sorted out. What was I even thinking so much about? Looking back, I'd been agonizing over nothing much.

How is the jamón arugula pizza at Four & More?
We also ordered the jamón arugula pizza (hamong ruccola pizza) at Four & More, generously topped with fragrant arugula and salty, chewy jamón.

It tastes even better while looking at the view.

Even though I was full, I love pizza so much that I tried a slice.

I ate the jamón and arugula on their own too, one bite each. Fragrant arugula and salty, chewy jamón, piled on generously.
My boyfriend's favorite bread has nuts and raisins inside, and the cream isn't sweet but nutty, so it went well with coffee.

Is Four & More good for a date or a get-together in Paju?
We packed up what was left and took it home 👆 I finished the pizza as soon as I'd digested, and even at home it had that special wood-fired oven flavor.
For a Paju date, honestly, nothing beats this place. Of all the big cafés in Paju I've visited so far, Four & More was the most beautiful and memorable. I'd also recommend it as a Paju sunset spot. When I visited in the daytime, lots of mothers were using it as a meeting place. For a get-together in Paju, Four & More is probably the best.
