I'm a salon nomad, so every month when it's time for a cut I try somewhere new. This time I went to Juno Hair Guwol-dong Rodeo Branch for a guile cut (gaeil-cut), a trendy, neat men's style. It was my first time at Juno Hair, and watching from behind as the guile cut took shape, I was so impressed by the detail and the styling that here's my review!

Where is Juno Hair Guwol-dong Rodeo Branch? Location, parking and hours

Juno Hair Guwol-dong Rodeo Branch is at 301 Link126, 126 Yesul-ro, Namdong-gu, Incheon, and it's open daily 10:00–19:00. One hour of parking is free.

The salon is a 2-minute walk from Exit 6 of Yesulhoegwan Station, in room 301 on the 3rd floor of the Link126 building. If you park in the building's underground lot, you get 1 hour free.

Atmosphere and kids' zone

As you'd expect from Guwol-dong's flagship salon, it's big, and the seats are spaced far apart, so it feels comfortable :)

There's a kids' zone too, so you can bring children along and they have a place to play while they wait. I liked that.

From a Pillars cut to a guile cut: do you need a fringe perm too?

This is before the cut. I'd had a Pillars cut (pilleoseu-cut) before, but it grew out fast, so this time I asked for a guile cut that's a bit shorter and dandier.

I booked the head stylist at Juno Hair Guwol-dong Rodeo Branch, and in the consultation she understood exactly what I wanted, clean and precise, totally on point. I asked whether I'd need a fringe perm with the guile cut, and she said my naturally wavy hair styles well on its own, so no extra treatment was pushed on me. Loved that.

While my hair was being cut I waited behind and read a magazine, and they brought me coffee and snacks too, so the time flew by :)

How were the sharp back lines of the guile cut done?

While I was flipping through the magazine, the back of my head got cut into a super cool, sharp, squared-off line!! I love sharp back lines, and she did it without me even asking. I'm so touched,,

I often tag along when my brother gets his hair cut, and watching from behind can be so frustrating, like eating sweet potatoes without a drink, and sometimes I worry the cut will go wrong,, but the head stylist at Juno Hair Guwol-dong Rodeo Branch has such a polished, all-time-great skill that I could relax and enjoy watching haha

Simple is best! A dandy guile cut, finished

The guile cut was finished quickly and precisely. The cut itself is perfect, and the finishing styling looks great too.

This is a men's hair spot where I'd happily end my salon-nomad life and settle on this style. A guile cut that's manly and suits you well is the coolest style, I think 💛

The fringe styling detail was so good that I took photos haha. I love this hair. The scissor god of a head stylist is the best~ For men's hair in Incheon, Juno Hair is the top tier haha.
