Weekday duck BBQ dinner with a toddler in Gwacheon: Deo Chadol
Deo Chadol is a duck chadol (thin-sliced brisket) barbecue restaurant on Deutgol2-ro in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi, an easy dinner stop after a day at Seoul Land or Seoul Grand Park. On a weekday evening with a 29-month-old, the couple course for two was ordered by tablet and ran from grilled duck chadol to duck jumuleok (sweet and spicy stir-fried duck) and fried rice, alongside doenjang jjigae. Baby chairs wait at the entrance and the duck chadol is sliced thin enough to cook in seconds, so the toddler cleared a whole bowl of rice at Deo Chadol.
