Takeout is available too, and there were clear instructions on how to eat it deliciously, which was handy to follow!

What's on the self-bar

There was also a self-bar where you could refill side dishes, broth or sauces as much as you liked, which was great!

The dish finally arrived! In the pot, minari (water celery) and a mountain of various mushrooms were piled high, and along with yeolmu bibimbap, kalguksu noodles, meat, and organic cordyceps, there were also norugungdungi (lion's mane), baengmogi (white jelly fungus), enoki and more — a whopping 9 varieties of colorful, premium mushrooms, generously loaded in. The visual alone was overwhelming!

I mixed up the bibimbap first — the slight bitterness of the yeolmu and the not-too-strong seasoning made for a great appetite-opener!

The geotjeori (fresh cabbage kimchi) side dish was really delicious! The seasoning was spot on and paired perfectly with the shabu-shabu!

First I added the 9 kinds of mushrooms into the shabu pot to build up the broth! As the flavor deepened and things cooked to a lovely finish, it made my mouth water~!

Dipping vegetables and mushrooms into the savory soy sauce with cheongyang chili made the flavors even richer! Fresh meat, vegetables and healthy mushrooms simmered generously in clear broth made for a truly hearty soup :)

There was something round like a bird's egg in the middle, and it turned out to be a dumpling! It felt like finding an unexpected little gift :)

A round dumpling found in the broth

Taking fresh beef, giving it a quick dip in the bubbling mushroom-vegetable broth, and dunking it into the soy sauce filled my mouth with healthiness and umami :) The combination of the richly steeped broth with fresh ingredients was truly outstanding!

Mugwort kalguksu, the second course

After clearing out the meat and vegetables, they added more broth and brought the fragrant mugwort kalguksu noodles to a boil :)

Chewy, fragrant mugwort noodles topped with crunchy, spicy kimchi were addictively good — I kept eating even after I was already full! The deep, rich broth paired beautifully with the mugwort noodles!

Free sesame fried rice to finish

After finishing off the noodles, I requested the free sesame fried rice (bangatgan cham bokkeumbap) as the grand finale! Rice, various minced vegetables, egg and gim (seaweed) flakes were fried up in the leftover broth, and the nutty sesame oil smell filled the air!

With the bottom slightly crisped, a big spoonful was nutty, mild, and addictive — the perfect finish! It was a truly complete meal, healthy and satisfying from start to finish!

Dessert corner with mouthwash and disposable floss

After finishing the meal, there's no way to skip the well-stocked dessert corner! Off to the side, there was popcorn, unlimited refills of makgeolli, black sesame soy milk, and Excellent ice cream and coffee to refresh the palate — a really thoughtful, varied dessert lineup :) Finishing off with a sweet dessert made for a great end to the meal!

I was pleasantly surprised to find mouthwash and disposable floss thoughtfully provided too! Thanks to this considerate touch letting you freshen up right there, it was a happy meal right to the very end :)
