What is Pasta Go Magok Branch like?
Pasta Go Magok Branch is a pasta restaurant at 215, 2F, Botanic Prugio City, 6 Magokjungang 5-ro, Gangseo-gu, Seoul. It was selected as a Gangseo-gu Good Price restaurant (착한가격업소, a local-government label for affordable places), so I went to see how it balances price and taste. It is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with last order at 7:50 PM.

Eating out has gotten so expensive lately that a full meal can feel like a burden, so visiting a restaurant with a Good Price designation is a real relief and puts me in a good mood.
Parking and how to get to Pasta Go Magok Branch
If you come by car, use the Botanic Prugio City building car park. When you pay after your meal, just tell the staff and they will register 2 hours of free parking for you.

Come up to the 2nd floor and you will find the restaurant in a tucked-away corner between the shabu-shabu restaurant Kkotmareum and Hi-An Dental Clinic. It can be a little hard to find on a first visit, so keep your eyes open and walk all the way to the end of the corner to reach the entrance.
Menu and prices

Kiosk ordering and the cream churros review event
As soon as you step inside, there are two kiosks right by the entrance.

With two machines, you don't have to wait long even if someone is ahead of you, and you can order quickly, which was really convenient. The restaurant is currently running a Naver receipt review event.

Write a review on Naver with a photo of your receipt and you get cream churros that are crunchy outside and soft inside, so do take part.

Just ask at the counter and they will set aside the receipt for your review in advance.
Pickles and tissues at the self-serve bar
On one side there is a tidy self-serve bar, and the system works well: you can take as many pickles as you like yourself.

The inside of Pasta Go Magok Branch is great for eating alone, and it was also a cozy, comfortable space for a meal for two.
How much is the solo set if you change the components?
What I ordered this day was the shrimp Toowoomba cream pasta and a Special Black Oil Pasta solo set with a generous lineup.

The base price of the Pasta Go solo set is ₩14,625, and the big plus is that you can change the components to suit your taste. You can choose a drink by default, and you can also adjust the pasta spice level to your liking.

For the side, fries are included free, and switching to a salad, pizza or something else adds to the price.

The pasta works the same way: the default is free, and picking another kind adds a charge. I switched to the Special Black Oil Pasta for +₩1,800 and chose the gorgonzola pizza for +₩1,500.

- Solo set base: ₩14,625
- Switch to Special Black Oil Pasta: +₩1,800
- Switch side to gorgonzola pizza: +₩1,500
- Solo set total: ₩17,925
- Shrimp Toowoomba cream pasta à la carte: ₩11,900
- Total for two: ₩29,825
Put together this way, the solo set came to ₩17,925, and adding the à la carte shrimp Toowoomba cream pasta at ₩11,900 brought the total for two to ₩29,825. A dinner roll comes by default, and you can choose on the kiosk whether to take it or not. I thought it would be too filling, so I skipped it, which is why it isn't in the photos.
Shrimp Toowoomba cream pasta review (₩11,900)
I ordered the shrimp Toowoomba cream pasta at regular spice level so it wouldn't be too hot.

When I tried it, it instantly reminded me of Shin Ramyun rosé cream Toowoomba: familiar, yet bursting with savory umami.

If you usually like rosé cream dishes, I think you will happily finish it down to the last of the sauce.
Special Black Oil Pasta review (₩12,700)
The Special Black Oil Pasta had a subtle oil sauce loaded with squid and plump shrimp mixed in, and I really enjoyed it.
The noodles were black, maybe made with squid ink, so besides the taste it was fun and fascinating just to look at while eating.

Side gorgonzola pizza

The gorgonzola pizza that came as the set side was so soft, sweet and nutty when I dunked it in the honey served with it. Delicious!
