Couple ring making in Seongdong, Seoul: Robenta Seongsu

I finally made matching rings with my husband~ When we were dating, he lost our couple rings, so we were going to buy new ones, but gold prices were,,, double!?!?!? So my husband said, “Then let’s go make them and make it meaningful~” But,,, with a kid, finding the time was seriouslyㅠㅠ Then I thought, we really have to stop putting this off, so we barely managed to go out to Seongsu-dong and visited Robenta Seongsu (반지공방 로벤타 성수) to make them!!

If you’re looking for a ring-making workshop in Seongsu or Seoul, I think this place is worth keeping in mind!

Because,,, they’re so pretty!!!!! Really,, even when ring-making workshops were hugely popular, I never tried one because I didn’t like the designs. But Robenta’s designs were so beautiful~ I loved that they didn’t just show us photos—we could see the actual rings and try them on before choosing~

A design can look pretty but not suit my hand, while one that looks less pretty can fit my hand perfectly. They showed us all the designs, so my husband and I could try them on one by one and choose. I loved that~

Making rings after reserving near Seongsu Station

📍 Robenta Seongsu It’s in Room 301 of Seongdo Building, 19 Yeonmujang 13-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. It’s a five-minute walk from Exit 3 of Seongsu Station, so it was easy to find without getting lost! I reserved ahead, and it usually takes one hour to make the rings, plus one hour for the finishing work, so

We visited planning to go eat afterward, but,, we wanted them to be easier to wear, so we added plating. They said that would take a little longer, so my husband and I decided to receive them at home by delivery~! They arrived earlier than the scheduled date, and they were even prettier than I expected!?!?

Right, right, they’re sooooo pretty~!?!?!? We chose rose-gold plating, and the ₩20,000 extra per ring was absolutely not a waste for this level of finish and detail!!

I heard that Robenta is designed directly by a jewelry designer with 30 years of experience! Maybe that’s why the ring designs didn’t feel ordinary—they were styles you could only find here~ You could also tell they cared about the materials. Robenta says it uses only top-grade 92.5% silver!

And instead of cubic zirconia, they use moissanite. I heard it’s the hardest gemstone after diamond and sparkles just as beautifully as a diamond~ You could feel the care in every tiny detail, so I was so excited until the rings arrived!!

My husband said he didn’t think he could make mine nicely, so he would make his own ring instead. But it was prettier, easier, and more fun than we expected!! We totally lost track of time while making them. Seriously, when we received the rings, we both thought they were so, so pretty—completely satisfied!!

Even though my husband isn’t handy, he followed the steps carefully and got a beautiful result, which was so nice!! They also took Polaroid photos of little moments while we worked~ It became such a lovely memory!!

Also, Robenta says polishing and scratch removal are free for life, so I think we’ll be able to wear them for a long, long time while having them cared for!! The rings are seriously so pretty, right!? I love that they’re such a pretty design that people probably wouldn’t know we made them unless we told them!!

It was so, so nice to have such a special date with my husband for the first time in a while. If you’re looking for a special date, I really, really recommend it! The designs are so, so pretty too!! Rose gold suited our skin tone better, so that’s what we chose, but there are four plating types, so keep that in mind!
