Jeongwang-dong chicken stew restaurant with takeout: Jeongjeong-a

Jeongjeong-a Sikdang Jeongwang Branch (정정아식당 정왕점) is a Korean restaurant in the Seochon Sangga complex in Jeongwang-dong, Siheung, specialising in dakbokkeumtang (spicy braised chicken stew) and cockles. The writer ordered the two-person dakbokkeumtang for 24,000 won at Shin Ramyun spice level 2, swapped the seasoned cockle salad for cockle bibimbap, and paid 1,000 won to pack the leftover stew. The broth was rich and the chilled Korean chicken stayed tender right down to the breast meat.
